The Scheduler is responsible for:
- Effectively scheduling caregiving staff based on their competencies and availability to ensure quality care for clients.
- Maintaining computerized schedules and ensuring real-time entry of scheduling and care-related information.
- Communicating scheduling changes clearly with clients and caregivers.
- Entering and updating client and caregiver information in the scheduling software.
- Monitoring telephony logs daily to ensure accurate payroll and billing.
- Updating the supervisor on open shifts and generating reports on client hours.
- Monitoring case metrics, such as overtime and unfilled hours.
- Enforcing company policies and relevant regulations.
- Documenting interactions with clients, families, and referral sources for coordinated care.
- Participating in evaluations and performance plans for the caregiver team.
- Building strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers through effective communication.
- Responding to emergencies professionally and maintaining confidentiality of client information.
- Demonstrating self-motivation, organization, and the ability to multitask.
- Providing feedback to management and presenting a professional image.
- Maintaining regular attendance and complying with all laws and regulations.
**Required Job Knowledge and Skills**
- A college degree and two years of experience in an office setting, preferably in home care.
- Compliance with ongoing licensing, certification, and background check requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and scheduling systems.
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
