Summary
We are seeking an individual who has experience assisting in an office environment for a plumbing company or a like trade . This Office Assistant role is essential in ensuring smooth office operations and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proficient in various office tasks. Accounting or bookkeeping experience a plus. Candidates must be available to work FT, M-F during the hours of 8am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily office operations and ensure a welcoming office environment.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and dispatch.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing exceptional service.
- Maintain organized records and files for easy access.
- Support the team with invoicing and billing processes.
- Collaborate with other staff members to streamline office procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in an office environment in either Plumbing HVAC , Electrical or Construction trades. Plumbing preferred.
- Lives locally and is knowledgeable of Western Oregon and Southwest Washington roads.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems.
- Experience with scheduling and dispatch.
- Strong computer literacy with Google and Apple products and software.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under stress.
- The ability to take directions and work as a team.
- Cheerful disposition.
- Ability to stay focused.
- Willingness to take on new challenges.
