Veteran (military) owned financial planning business, established in 1989, is seeking a career minded individual for an entry level Business Associate/ Financial Advisor position.
This is a Monday through Friday salary+ commission Full-Time position (37.5 hours/week) with opportunity for growth. Salary DOE. Health insurance benefits and paid vacation eligible after completing one year of employment.
The ideal candidate has an interest in the financial planning field, enjoys working with people, is very detail oriented, able to multitask, dependable and willing to adapt to an ever-changing financial environment. Microsoft Excel certified, Word, Outlook and basic computer skills are required on a day-to-day basis. Also, neat and legible hand writing is a must and the ability to communicate professionally with a large number of clients.
The position requires an interest in licensing as a financial planner (series 65, life & health insurance) and a college degree in finance or a related subject. Life & Health producer license applicant preferred.
