Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Travel Assignment

Shift: Days | 8-Hour Shifts (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Duration: 26 Weeks
Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 26-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The SLP will evaluate and treat medically complex acute care patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- 4–5 years of recent acute inpatient Speech Language Pathology experience
- Level I Trauma Center experience required
- Experience managing acute tracheostomy and ventilator patients
- Fully competent in Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) or Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience treating medically complex acute care patients
- BLS certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel assignment experience
- Experience in Comprehensive Stroke Centers
- Strong interdisciplinary communication and critical thinking skills
