About the position:
We are looking for assembly technicians to take part in the manufacturing of our scanning systems. The position involves manual assembly of miniature electric motors used to move precision laser beams. Assemblies are often worked under a microscope and electronic soldering is part of the process. Knowledge of mechanical, electronic and electrical components and test equipment is a plus, but on the job training is provided.
Responds to: Production Manager
Responsibilities:
- Work with a team to meet production quotas and fulfill client orders.
- Following documented processes for production, to ensure quality control while meeting order requirements.
- Following inventory management protocols and prepare finished products for shipment.
Requirements:
Ideal candidates have great hand dexterity, excellent eye-to-hand coordination and the ability to handle small hand-held tools.
