Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Deliver a wide range of general dental services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and preventive care.
- Conduct complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic treatments with precision and care.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure safe and effective procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care to promote long-term wellness.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on general dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), and oral surgery procedures.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles is a plus for treating pediatric patients effectively.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate treatment plans clearly.
- Invisalign and implant experience is a plus.
