Job Overview
We are seeking a person with at least 10 years experience as an electrical Superintendent or Project Manager for new commercial ground up construction. The current project is in-progress and will require the ability to understand all project plans and get up to speed quickly.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the electrical construction team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
- Coordinate with the project manager.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify installation accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
- Oversee procurement and management of materials not already onsite ensuring timely delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards, and uphold quality control measures.
- Manage subcontractors’ performance and ensure all work aligns with project scope and contractual obligations.
- Utilize tools like Bluebeam for document review and updates, overlays, and changes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, change orders, and inspection records.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction management with a focus on new ground-up commercial electrical projects.
- Proven supervising experience leading electrical crews on large-scale sites.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes.
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Bluebeam, Outbuild, MS Project, Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with project scheduling and quality assurance practices. Create and update 3-week look-ahead schedules weekly.
- Deep understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for construction site safety.
- Ability to read technical schematics and circuitry accurately. Interpret electrical plans and the ability to provide solutions for incorrect plans, and create conduit routing redlines.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Electrical Superintendent: 5 years (Preferred)
