Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of residential properties. This position plays a key role in ensuring resident satisfaction by responding to maintenance requests, performing preventive maintenance, and helping maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the property.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and other building systems.
- Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues.
- Assist with apartment turnovers, including preparing vacant units for new residents.
- Maintain common areas, grounds, and property amenities as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and management regarding maintenance concerns and updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general maintenance practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
