Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on a variety of commercial projects. This role ensures work is executed on schedule, within budget, safely, and according to plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Project Manager to develop and maintain construction schedules, including sequencing and installation methods.
- Coordinate, schedule, and supervise subcontractors and vendors; confirm work quality and adherence to project requirements.
- Ensure all onsite work complies with construction drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Implement and enforce jobsite safety procedures, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Prepare accurate and timely daily documentation of jobsite progress, issues, and conditions.
- Proactively communicate with the project team regarding conflicts, potential delays, changes, or discrepancies, and help coordinate resolutions.
- Maintain productive relationships with project managers, clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of commercial building processes, codes, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and schedules.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage subcontractors.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to managing evolving jobsite conditions.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
