Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Fire Alarm Technician in EL MIRAGE, AZ. This contract position is for a Fire Alarm Technician responsible for the installation of alarm systems within hyperscale environments in El Mirage and the West Phoenix area. The ideal candidate will be proficient in pulling wire, installing devices, and operating lifts in a large-scale construction setting.

Pay: $22 to $26 Per Hour BOE
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure fire alarm and life safety systems within hyperscale data center environments.
- Pull, route, and secure low-voltage wiring and cabling through conduit and cable trays.
- Operate aerial lifts and man-lifts at heights of up to 40 feet to install overhead devices.
- Mount and install fire alarm devices including smoke detectors, heat detectors, and notification appliances.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of installation phases.
- Adhere to all site-specific safety protocols unique to hyperscale construction sites.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or in a related low-voltage installation role.
- Proficiency in pulling, terminating, and testing low-voltage cabling.
- Prior experience working in hyperscale or large-scale industrial/commercial construction environments.
- Ability to safely operate high-reach equipment and work comfortably at heights of 40 feet.
- Familiarity with fire alarm system components and installation standards.
- Reliable transportation to support projects across multiple sites on the west side of Phoenix.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work at heights up to 40 feet while operating an aerial lift.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods during an 8-10 hour shift.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment at all times, including a Class C hardhat with a chin strap.
- Ability to work in a construction environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $22 to $26 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
