- BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania is required
- 15+ years of experience with water/wastewater engineering, including:
- New infrastructure and Rehabilitation of existing infrastructure for:
- Sewer collection
- Conveyance
- Pump stations and treatment
- Water supply:
- Treatment
- Transmission
- Storage
- Pumping
- Distribution
- Experience working with local and state agencies including PADEP
- Progressive experience working directly with clients and managing all aspects of projects
- Excellent communication, project management, and client relation skills
- Strong organization and leadership skills with a track record for understanding and adhering to contractual requirements
- Preparation of Act 537 Plans is a plus
- Some AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus
- Manage all aspects of multiple engineering projects for client representatives and senior project managers
- Assist with client representation, including public meeting attendance
- Supervise department staff assigned projects
- Prepare evaluations of existing and proposed facilities to identify improvement alternatives, including project costing
- Supervise the preparation of plans and specifications, permitting, bidding, and construction administration for capital projects
- Sewer system condition evaluations include televising sewers
- Coordinating with contractors and client staff
- Act 537 Plans
- Chapter 94 Reports
- Review of proposed land development projects
- Assisting with QA/QC for design reviews
