Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections, providing detailed product information when needed
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise processing
- Operate kitchen equipment safely to support food preparation and maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage cash register operations, processing cash transactions, credit card payments, and handling change accurately
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, including food handling and kitchen cleanliness protocols
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling orders and ensuring timely delivery to customers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering is essential
- Culinary experience or food industry background is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food safety management and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety protocols diligently
