Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor - 7a-7p
The RN Supervisor plays an integral role in the success of our team and our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to provide clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centered nursing care. This role supports the Director of Nursing by supervising nursing staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting clinical excellence through coaching, collaboration, and effective communication.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Assess resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions, physician notification, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, medication administration, and treatment protocols.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and coordination.
- Respond to clinical emergencies and resident care concerns.
- Supervise, mentor, and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care delivery.
- Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and competency development of nursing team members.
- Support performance improvement and corrective action processes in collaboration with nursing leadership.
- Ensure nursing services comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and licensure requirements.
- Promote resident safety initiatives, including infection prevention, fall prevention, and quality improvement efforts.
- Support survey readiness, audits, and implementation of corrective action plans.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Partner with leadership to support staffing, scheduling, and operational needs.
- Participate in meetings, quality initiatives, and committees as assigned.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

- Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
- Deal tactfully with personnel, prospects, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
- Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility.
- Communicate effectively in a manner that is sufficient for supervisors, team members, prospects, residents, and families.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience
- Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the applicable state.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience.
- Prior experience in long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare
