Title: Electronic Technician - NIGHTS (6PM-6AM)
Location: Brownwood, Texas (76801) Potential Sign On Bonus for Relocation for the right candidate
Hourly: $28-$30/HR + Benefits
The Electronic Technician will perform tasks such as troubleshooting, repair, and installation for production equipment. This position will handle general repair work and maintenance on all electrical components, such as motors, motor drives and hardware. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of preventative maintenance experience working in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
What You Will Be Doing

Repairs production and spare equipment when failure is of an electrical or electronic nature, which requires the ability to do minor soldering, alignment, grinding, disassembly, and reassembly of both major, minor, large, and minor pieces of equipment.

Helps troubleshoot equipment by observing equipment operation from an electronic perspective

Designs, fabricates, assembles, and installs, parts, fixtures, or entire assemblies as requested by Engineering or Department managers

Initiates the necessary parts request form for required electronic supplies so repairs or installations can be completed

Inspects and calibrates various pieces of production equipment and requires documentation of drawings, layouts, time sheets, work orders, and cost reduction or safety proposals
What You Need for this Position

High school diploma or GED equivalent with two or more years of technical training or school within the field, or equivalent education and experience

Technical experience

Ability to use hand and power tools and operate all types of electronic troubleshooting equipment
