Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers of patients
- Assist with compassionate end of life care
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
Experience:
- Experience working in a hospice setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Tebra, Medsender, and Point Click Care, is a plus
- Knowledge of basic vital sign monitoring and collection
- Experience working in geriatrics, and rehabilitation is beneficial
As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients. Your duties will involve assisting with various aspects of patient care and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Experience in the long-term care health settings or working with geriatric populations is preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and specialized equipment/procedures will be advantageous.
