American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry position at a hospital in Alexandria, LA, requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and an active LA or compact RN license.

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week contract

Active RN license — Louisiana or compact state license required

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)

Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for telemetry RNs

Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in Med/Surg Telemetry

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs not accepted

One professional reference required

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
