Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Meat Cutter/Packer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat to meet the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting and food preparation, and possess a strong commitment to food safety and quality. Your expertise will contribute to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications and customer requests.
- Ensure all meat products are handled in compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including tools and equipment.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and offering recommendations on meat products.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Follow all health regulations and company policies regarding food handling and sanitation.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Proficient in using knives and other cutting tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays.
- A passion for food production and preparation is highly desirable.
Shifts Available:
8am-4:30pm Must be able to work 10 to 12 hours a day
2pm-10:30 Must be able to work 10 to 12 hours a day
6pm-2:30am Must be able to work 10 to 12 hours a day
