Compensation
- Pay: $20.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and demonstrated ability. All positions are subject to the probationary period described in the Employee Handbook. Candidates offered compensation at the upper end of the pay range may be required to successfully complete the probationary period before the full rate is applied.
- On-Call Compensation: $100.00 flat fee per week plus compensation for actual time worked.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help ensure our property continues to meet the high standards our guests expect.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, appearance and overall guest experience of our property. This is a year-round position with responsibilities that vary between our busy operating season and our off-season improvement projects.
The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, capable of working independently and possesses a broad range of maintenance and renovation skills. This position requires physical labor, including frequent heavy lifting, carrying materials and equipment up and down stairs and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Seasonal Schedule (May – October)
Our hotel is open seven days per week during the busy season and requires a highly responsive maintenance professional.
Work Schedule: 6 days per week, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
On-Call Requirement: 3 nights per week, 3:00 PM – 8:30 AM
On-call response time must be less than 20 minutes
Respond to guest maintenance issues and emergencies
Perform daily property inspections and repairs
Maintain guest rooms, common areas and exterior grounds
Frequent heavy lifting and stair use required
Off-Season Schedule (October – April)
The off-season focuses on property improvements, preventative maintenance, renovations and capital projects designed to enhance the guest experience and improve the overall condition of the property.
Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with flexibility as project demands require
On-call availability required during snowstorms and snow removal events
Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property
Complete renovation and improvement projects
Assist with seasonal preparation and property upgrades
Responsibilities May Include
Trash removal Sweeping and general property upkeep
Preventative maintenance inspections Guest room maintenance and repairs
Troubleshooting maintenance issues Snow removal and winter property maintenance
Painting, patching and cosmetic repairs Renovation and improvement projects
Responsibilities May Include
Equipment maintenance Responding to emergency maintenance calls
Other duties as assigned
Skills Preferred
Flooring installation and demolition, basic plumbing repairs, carpentry, painting and drywall repair, preventative maintenance, renovation projects, troubleshooting and repair of common building systems, and safe operation of hand and power tools. Candidates must be able to work independently, perform heavy lifting, climb stairs regularly, and maintain high standards of workmanship.
Qualifications
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation
Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment regularly
Ability to work on ladders and navigate stairs frequently
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Previous maintenance, construction, renovation, or hospitality maintenance experience preferred
Willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and transferable skills
