Circle of Life Therapy was founded in 2019 by two licensed Occupational Therapists out of love and passion for helping others become a better version of themselves through a series of therapeutic rehabilitative approaches. COLT ‘s goal is to create a space where our clients and their families can obtain a sense of hope for their future despite the challenges placed upon them. Essential Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Provide one-on-one treatment in a pediatric outpatient setting.
- Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs to patients.
- Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
- Develop and guide plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best results for your patients.
- Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
Qualifications:
- Therapy Program Graduate.
- Texas Therapy License or eligible.
- Evaluates patient's need for therapy and develops appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members and other caregivers in appropriate therapy techniques.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
