Under the direction of the Maintenance Coordinator, this position will be responsible for the overall maintenance of rental properties managed by Skyhawk Rentals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Perform general maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and painting-related issues throughout the property.
- Repair, replace, and maintain building components and fixtures, including showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, flooring, and exterior structures.
- Prepare vacant units for new residents by completing all necessary repairs, cleaning, painting, and inspections to ensure move-in readiness.
- Maintain a working knowledge of HVAC systems to diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24-hour emergency maintenance response and resolve urgent property issues.
- Schedule, perform, and document preventive maintenance activities to ensure the proper operation and longevity of building systems and equipment.
- Complete grounds maintenance duties, including trash and debris removal, sweeping, pressure washing, and light landscaping to maintain curb appeal and property standards.
- Assist with and coordinate special projects, renovations, property improvements, and capital projects as assigned by management.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable building codes.
- Maintain positive and professional interactions with residents, vendors, and team members while delivering exceptional customer service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Maintenance Technician is expected to maintain a professional, courteous, and customer service-oriented demeanor when interacting with residents, visitors, contractors, vendors, and fellow team members. The position requires the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, exercise sound judgment, and establish and maintain effective working relationships through cooperation, communication, and teamwork.

Pay is negotiable and may be adjusted higher or lower based on qualifications and relevant experience.
