American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a hospital in Manchester, NH, requiring active telemetry experience and a minimum of 2 years of hospital experience.

Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week contract

Med/Surg unit with telemetry monitoring on a 47-bed floor (23 semi-private rooms, 1 private room)

Patient population includes vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, general surgery, peripheral vascular disease, sepsis, atherosclerosis, GI bleeds, chest tubes, and arrhythmias

Patient ratio is 1:5, with potential to stretch to 1:6

Equipment used includes Pyxis, Alaris Pumps, Bladder Scanners, EKGs, Atrium Chest Tubes, Dinamaps, and Vein Finder
-
EMR: Meditech Expanse

Floating required to like Med/Surg units and other hospital areas (PCU/ED) for overflow, maintaining similar patient types
-
Active NH or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for Telemetry RNs

Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience required

Active telemetry experience required

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
-
One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
-
Unit staff includes charge nurses (CNC), RNs, LNAs, unit clerks, and Telemetry Techs

Preferred experience includes surgical bariatrics, cardiac care, vascular surgery, and wound vac/dressing changes

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
