Travel RN - ICU

Job Details

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU position on night shift requiring 1-2+ years of experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

Work in the ICU within the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a regional health center
Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Every other weekend required
13-week assignment length

Active RN license (Iowa or compact) required
AHA certifications required
1-2+ years of ICU experience required, though candidates with 1 year of experience plus travel experience will be considered
Current active Nursys licensure required at time of consideration
Iowa SING background check required, including both criminal and child abuse portions with no exceptions
All background checks (county and state) must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide searches not accepted
Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult)
10-panel drug screening required, including opiates
Titers required within the last 12 months for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and TB

Provide direct patient care within a critical care setting as part of a collaborative healthcare team
Facility has served the Ottumwa and Southeast Iowa community for more than 125 years, offering emergency medicine, critical care, medical/surgical, acute rehabilitation, obstetrics, pediatrics, and specialty services
Monday or Tuesday start days will be accommodated
Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
First-time travelers with sufficient ICU experience may be considered
