OB/GYN Nurse
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. This role involves working closely with Providers to ensure the well-being of patients.
Duties:
- Assist in prenatal care, and postpartum care
- Educate patients on pregnancy-related topics such as nutrition and exercise
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform procedures like phlebotomy
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records using ICD-10 coding
Experience:
- Previous experience in OB/GYN nursing is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy
