JOB Under the general direction and supervision of the recreation director and/or maintenance supervisor, this position is responsible for maintaining North Peninsula Recreation Service Area (NPRSA) facilities, grounds, equipment and trails by performing general labor, custodial and maintenance duties. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Must be at least 18 years of age;

High school diploma or GED;

Valid, unrestricted Alaska driver's license required; and,

Desirable qualities include building and grounds maintenance experience and/or general laborer experience and ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to see, talk and hear; swim; stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch; and occasionally required to use hands and fingers dexterously to operate equipment and controls. The employee must occasionally transport up to 50 pounds and very occasionally more than 100 pounds.
