We are growing and are looking for an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team.
This is a leadership position for someone who takes pride in quality work, leads by example, and understands how to maintain beautiful landscapes while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew safely and efficiently.
- Perform and oversee mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weed control, and general landscape maintenance.
- Ensure all properties meet our quality standards before leaving each site.
- Train, motivate, and mentor crew members.
- Communicate professionally with customers, account managers, and office staff.
- Operate commercial landscape equipment safely.
- Drive company trucks and pull trailers safely throughout Southwest Florida.
- Complete daily paperwork and communicate job progress, concerns, and material needs.
- Ensure equipment is maintained, cleaned, and operated properly.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional landscape maintenance experience.
- Previous experience leading a landscape maintenance crew.
- Experience maintaining both high-end residential and commercial properties.
- Strong knowledge of Southwest Florida plants, turf, irrigation basics, seasonal maintenance, and proper pruning techniques.
- Ability to identify landscape issues and communicate solutions.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred; ability to communicate effectively with both customers and crew members.
- Valid Florida Driver License with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving full-size trucks with trailers.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Authorized to legally work in the United States.
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida's heat and weather conditions.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
