Dogs Day Out in Hillsboro is hiring a part time professional groomer! We are a family owned and operated daycare, boarding and grooming facility in the Hillsboro/Aloha area. We strive to keep a happy, healthy, and clean environment for the dogs we care for. We are looking for a fun, outgoing groomer that we can depend on. We take caring for our dogs very seriously and pride ourselves in making lasting relationships with our clients and their dogs. We prefer quality over quantity. Work Schedule: Monday-Tuesday 9am - 5pm & Friday-Saturday 9am - 5pm
Responsibilities
- Provide professional grooming services for dogs, including bathing, trimming, and styling coats.
- Handle and restrain animals safely to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming.
- Assess the health and condition of pets, reporting any concerns to pet owners.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Offer excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs and grooming options.
- Stay updated on grooming techniques and trends to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Proficient in animal handling and pet grooming techniques
- Strong skills in animal restraint and overall pet care
- Background in kennel operations and customer service
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage multiple pets safely
- 3 years experience

Pay: $22.82 - $27.48 per hour
