Full time position with a small R&D team operating in the Delmar Maker District.
Major Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the engineering team to build, modify, and refine early-stage prototyping equipment
- Prototype production
- Hands-on lab testing of materials and prototypes and data analysis
- Assist in line maintenance: help wire, configure, and troubleshoot SBC assembly equipment under engineering guidance
Skills Required for Position
- Detail oriented
- Team player
- Standing for long periods and lifting 50lbs
- Enjoy making stuff
- Basic understanding of and ability to use power tools safely
- Proficient in basic 3D modeling: ability to utilize Autodesk Fusion 360 to create, modify, and render prototype designs.
- Aptitude for automation: basic exposure to microcontrollers and coding logic, with a strong willingness to learn how to operate assembly line controls.
