We are seeking to add someone to the team with advanced video technical ability and event production knowledge, along with a desire to create positive experiences for our clients, partners, and team.
Responsibilities
The Video Engineer role at Goodly is a full-time, on-site position. This role is responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining cameras and video systems used for live event productions and video shoots. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and configuring production gear, managing media, and traveling to shoots and events. The Video Engineer collaborates closely with creative and production teams to support seamless video delivery, optimize performance, and document technical setups and procedures. This position also involves staying current with emerging video technologies and recommending improvements to the agency’s video infrastructure.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve video-related technical issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess experience with live event video systems and related AV equipment.
Candidates should possess expertise in digital video formats, codecs, and standards, as well as video editing and transcoding practices.
Relevant qualifications include experience with live production environments, familiarity with routing and switching equipment, and comfort working with both Mac and PC systems.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential.
A background in broadcast engineering, audiovisual technology, or a related field, and prior agency or production experience, are beneficial.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
