Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations
- Operate POS systems such as square POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and accuracy
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed to support quick service during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred; coffee experience is a plus
- Pos square
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks related to café operations
- Experience with serving, food preparation, cashiering, or retail math is advantageous
