Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality enclosures and assemblies that meet strict specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced tools and technical drawings in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble components
- Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial tools to perform precise assembly tasks
- Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
- Fabricate, modify, or repair components through machining or fabrication processes as needed
- Read and interpret production documents to follow assembly procedures correctly
- Conduct quality checks using shop math and mechanical knowledge to verify proper fit and function
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols including PPE use
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for assembly purposes
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments
- Knowledge of shop math principles relevant to manufacturing tasks
- Familiarity with fabrication processes is a plus
- Experience handling manual handling tasks safely in a warehouse or shop setting
- Ability to interpret technical documents related to mechanical blueprint interpretation and production procedures

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
