The company is fast-paced, exciting and has grown to over 70 stores. The company has an amazing opportunity with benefits for a Corporate District Manager whose primary role will be to provide leadership and management of 4 Vitality Bowls locations in the East Bay area; ensure achievement of restaurant sales and budgetary targets; drive and deliver exceptional customer service; establish and maintain operational standards in compliance with federal, state and local laws, including food quality, food safety, and restaurant safety; preserve brand integrity of restaurant facilities; establish and maintain performance standards; and coach, develop and support management and team members. The District Manager's overall focus is to increase average unit volume of sales and control costs; and drive operations excellence.
Job Description Overview
- Oversee and manage corporate locations (Pleasant Hill, Lafayette, Danville, San Ramon).

- Address performance issues that affect profits in order of priority in a timely manner
- Spend time in all 4 stores motivating, training, inspecting, and supporting the store management team across all corporate locations
- Develop and implement action plans that meet operational and organizational objectives.
- Manage and attend all events and catering
· Ensure stores meet or exceed company cleaning and food safety standards at all times
- Complete District Manager Inspections on each store weekly
- Manage with integrity, honesty, and transparency; uphold Vitality Bowls values and positive culture. Be respectful and professional.
- Identify, communicate, and delegate responsibilities and practices to the store management team to ensure smooth flow of operations within the corporate locations.
- Ensure adherence to applicable wage and hour laws for employees. Properly assist in handling theft, overtime, write ups, and firing.
- Responsible for new employee onboarding and training and Responsible for training Managers (completing manager training checklist withing first 30 days)
- Responsible for spending the first four shifts with each new manager.
- Full understanding of Labor and COGS management and ability to help stores control their costs. Manage schedules and hit labor targets of maximum 25% labor in each location.
- Review POS reports daily for discounts and unusual activity
- Challenge the team and inspire them to have a growth mindset and be results-driven. Hold team accountable for all job responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively across all departments to create an environment where employees on all levels feel respected, included, and heard. Maintain excellent communication with team.
- Execute and enforce operational procedures in-store.
- Set goals in terms of performance, sales volumes, store operations, COGS and labor for the team. And provide the training, coaching and mentoring needed to reach those goals.
- Implement and ongoing management of marketing program and help corporate locations grow
- Responsible for Local Store Marketing for corporate locations and provide weekly updates to the team on marketing initiatives taken place the prior week.
- Ability to support locations by being present and actively manage all corporate locations
- Responsible for ensuring all opening and closing checklist are being completed through MeazureUp. Execute SOP for follow up when checklist has been missed.
- Management of all paperwork necessary for all employees and ensure training checklists are being properly used and completed within the first 2 weeks of a new hires start date.
- Ensure all companies SOP’s are being followed
- Management of food product quality and being able to teach non-cross contact ideals in our kitchens.
- Communicate checklist of updated items on each Operations call
- Assist in updating any training documents or in-store material.
· Address and resolve customer complaints within 36 hours following company SOPs, including issuing refunds when appropriate
- Follow SOP when pausing orders in any online platform.

Required Abilities:
- Must be able to lift 40lbs.
- Must have a flexible schedule-ability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to manage store operations independently.

- Must be able to be on your feet 4-8hrs daily.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
2. At least eight years of strong operational experience.
3. At least five years in a senior management role.
