Overview
We are seeking a dependable, service‑oriented Insurance Account Manager/Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients, providing exceptional support, and ensuring individuals and businesses have the protection they need. While there is a sales component to this role, the primary focus is on servicing existing clients, addressing their insurance needs, and building long-term, trust-based relationships.
In this position, you’ll guide clients through policy options, answer questions, assist with changes, and identify opportunities where additional coverage may benefit them.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, ongoing service to existing clients, ensuring their insurance needs are consistently met.
- Handle incoming service requests, including policy changes, coverage explanations, billing questions, and general inquiries.
- Conduct needs assessments to help clients understand their coverage and identify any gaps or additional products that may improve their protection.
- Present and explain insurance policy options in a clear, client-friendly manner.
- Support sales efforts by recommending suitable products and assisting with cross‑sell or up‑sell opportunities as they arise.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, policy updates, and follow‑up tasks.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships through reliability, empathy, and proactive communication.
- Stay informed on insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory updates to provide knowledgeable guidance.
Experience
- Prior experience in insurance or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Must hold or obtain Property & Casualty insurance licenses.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential.
