Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fund Accountant & Client Service Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with some relevant internship or entry-level experience who is eager to grow within the investment management industry. The role will involve supporting daily accounting operations and contributing to client service efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting Support
- Arrange and reconcile cash activity for monthly capital flows.
- Maintain supporting schedules to assist with month-end financial statement preparation.
- Review month-end financial statement, partner allocations and investor statements that are prepared by the fund administrator.
- Input and maintain data in Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) to ensure accurate client holding and performance reporting.
- Work with custodians and fund administrator to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with external auditor data requests and preparation of year-end GAAP financial statements.
Client Service Support
- Help onboard new clients and investors, including documentation, custodian setup, and compliance tasks.
- Respond to routine client inquiries and support the preparation of reports and investment summaries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the delivery of high-quality service to clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in fund accounting, operations, or investment management (internships or co-ops welcome).
- Experience with Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn financial systems and software.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-oriented mindset.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
