JOB The Maintenance Tech is self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision with the ability to prioritize for maximum productivity. Able and willing to learn new systems, provide supervision and assistance for both Maintenance Work I and II as needed, analyze and research all existing systems. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Has comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Is able to assess, diagnose, and make any and all repairs. Participates in on-call, carrying emergency phone & respond to after hour emergency maintenance needs. Good written and verbal communication skills are also required.
- Ability to identify, seek and obtain professional assistance with current/potential structural issues.
- Ability to maintain or modify existing electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems under supervision with required assistance.
- Anticipate potential system issues/needs and plan work accordingly.
- Ability to learn & use computer control systems for heat and A/C
- Knowledge of preventive schedules and ability to complete on time without supervision.
