Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in private social clubs. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing POS systems, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. A strong background in food safety, food handling, and hospitality is essential to deliver an outstanding experience for our patrons. Must be willing to get RAMP certification.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, taking orders and providing recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy using retail math skills
- Ensure accurate handling of SGOC games/funds
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts
- Collaborate with trustees for proper and safe club management
- Uphold all health and safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments; fine dining experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
