Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing

Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc. is hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for a food manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL.
Pay: $21.00–$37.50 per hour
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Shift: Multiple Shifts
What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Diagnose issues on conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns
- Support production and minimize downtime
- Follow food safety and workplace safety standards
- Train staff on basic equipment operation and maintenance
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing maintenance experience (food industry preferred)
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems and PLCs preferred
- Experience with bearings, belts, chains, and gear reducers
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Forklift or scissor lift experience a plus
- Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
