We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift Assistant Manager to join our convenience store team in Hendersonville, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing convenience store operations during the second shift. This role is essential in ensuring smooth store operations, excellent customer service, and achieving sales goals.
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations during the 2nd shift.
- Lead, train, and motivate store associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and merchandising to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage.
- Handle cash management, deposits, and accurate record-keeping.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a convenience store environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively during the 2nd shift hours.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cash handling procedures.
- Customer-focused with problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
This position primarily covers the 2nd shift hours. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
