About the Role
As a Robotics Systems Validation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced autonomous mobile platforms. You will bridge the gap between hardware design and software execution by conducting rigorous system-level testing, sensor validation, and mechanical durability analysis to drive product maturity.
Responsibilities-
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for system and subsystem Design Verification Testing (DVT) to accelerate engineering feedback loops.

Perform mechanical fatigue, life-cycle, and durability testing to ensure long-term platform reliability.

Conduct detailed failure analysis and physical teardowns to identify root causes and implement corrective design improvements.

Design and fabricate custom test fixtures and mechanical rigs to support ongoing validation programs.

Automate sensor and controls validation using Python scripting to streamline data acquisition and software performance analysis.

Document test results and translate complex technical findings into actionable recommendations for cross-functional engineering teams.
Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.

5+ years of professional experience in robotics validation, testing, or mechatronics.

Demonstrated expertise in mechanical durability testing, fatigue analysis, and failure investigation.

Proficiency in Python for test automation, data logging, and workflow optimization.

Strong working knowledge of GD&T, metrology, and structured V&V methodologies.

Advanced proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or CATIA for fixture design.

Experience supporting hardware sustainment and product lifecycle management.

Proven ability to communicate technical insights effectively to diverse engineering stakeholders.
