Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team, dedicated to maintaining and installing electrical systems across diverse environments. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and local electrical codes
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot systems including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system configurations
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to all electrical safety procedures and regulations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installation and repair tasks efficiently on construction sites or renovation projects
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, identify potential hazards or failures, and implement corrective actions promptly
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of electrical work on construction or renovation projects involving industrial or commercial electrical systems
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial and commercial electrical systems
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures
- Hands-on experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and schematics for complex systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters
- Construction site experience with a strong understanding of installation processes for high-voltage wiring and low-voltage control systems
- Familiarity with renovation projects involving existing electrical infrastructure and upgrades
