Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender / Cannabis Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, educating clients about our products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have retail sales experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for the cannabis industry. Bilingual abilities and supervisory experience are a plus. This position is vital in creating a welcoming environment while maintaining compliance with all regulations. All positions are paid and require a professional approach to customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, offering product demos when appropriate
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage to promote responsible consumption
- Upsell additional products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or scheduling appointments
- Supervise other team members as needed, ensuring smooth store operations and excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to cannabis sales and store policies
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or similar environments involving customer service and cashiering
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations
- Experience in supervising or leading teams is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly desirable
- Knowledge of cannabis products, including product demos and merchandising techniques, is preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions and inventory management

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
