Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Custom Closet Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom closet systems and related cabinetry with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Measure and assess installation sites to ensure accurate placement of custom closet systems and cabinetry
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble and install closet components efficiently
- Perform trim carpentry, door hanging,and other related carpentry tasks as needed
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate smooth installation processes
- Ensure all installations meet quality standards, safety regulations, and client specifications
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues on-site and adapt plans as necessary for successful project completion
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation
- Strong background in carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and woodworking
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and experience working on active construction or remodeling sites
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks regularly
- Strong communication skills for reading schematics accurately and collaborating effectively with team members
