What you’ll do
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items with precision and flair
- Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs
- Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Manage inventory levels, including food preparation and stock replenishment
- Handle cashiering duties accurately, including basic math calculations for transactions
- Assist in training new baristas on best practices in serving and coffee preparation
- Foster a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues
Basic qualifications
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in food service or retail settings
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
