Provide Companionship and Home Helper Services which include:
- Companionship and conversation
- Providing stabilization and assistance with walking
- Preparing meals and cleaning up meal related items
- Providing medication and appointment reminders
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Running errands
- Accompanying clients to appointments
Provide Personal Care services which include:
- Assist with bathing
- Assist with grooming
- Assist with toileting and incontinence issues
Provide Specialized services which could include:
- Advanced Alzheimer's Dementia Care
Must have the following to apply:
- Previous experience in home care; two years minimum-must provide two professional references
- Active New York State HHA Certification
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients
