Job Overview
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool/Pre-K Teacher, where your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow! In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing classroom environment that fosters curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. The schedule is Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that align with developmental milestones and educational standards
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Manage daily classroom activities, including circle time, play-based learning, and structured lessons in literacy, math, physical education, and arts
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and incidents
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential
- Knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and classroom management techniques
- Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy educatio
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for toddlers care, preschool teaching, and physical education activities
- Experience with standardized testing or assessments related to early childhood education is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
