Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and staff spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organizing linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Operate dry cleaning equipment when necessary to professionally clean delicate fabrics or specialized garments
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and environmentally friendly practices
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure seamless service delivery
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and maintain a safe environment
- Follow established procedures for handling guest belongings with confidentiality and respect
- Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry materials to optimize resources
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including use of various cleaning agents and equipment
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment operation is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational skills for managing laundry loads and cleaning schedules
