Duties
- Prepare a variety of menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, steam tables, and food prep stations safely and efficiently
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Assist with menu planning and food production to meet high-volume demand during busy service times
- Handle cash register operations accurately, process transactions swiftly, and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed during all stages of food service and preparation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant cook, or catering assistant is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety management, sanitizing procedures, and kitchen equipment operation
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques including grilling, braising,and general food preparation
- Excellent knife skills and experience with recipe adherence for consistent quality
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with menu planning, food handling regulations, and food safety standards
- Prior experience serving customers directly or working in fine dining or catering settings is a plus BUT NOT NECESSARY. We will Train You!
