Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hostess Cashier to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, greeting them with enthusiasm, managing reservations and waitlists, and efficiently handling cashier duties. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will help ensure every guest feels valued and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly as they arrive, providing friendly and attentive guest services
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times
- Handle cashier duties accurately using POS systems
- Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house area to enhance guest experience
- Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about menu items or reservation details
- Support team members with organizational tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette are essential for engaging with guests effectively
- Experience in restaurant settings involving serving, hotel experience, or hospitality roles is a plus
