Experienced Diesel & Truck Technician
Back Forty Diesel Truck Repair is a locally owned repair shop in Tifton, Georgia specializing in diesel pickups, gas work trucks, fleet vehicles, and medium-duty trucks.
We're looking for an experienced technician who can diagnose, repair, and manage their workload independently. We are not looking for an apprentice or entry-level technician. We're looking for someone who takes pride in solving problems, producing quality work, and helping build a great shop culture.
What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel and gas-powered trucks
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting
- Communicate findings clearly with management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work closely with ownership to provide exceptional service to customers
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of professional technician experience
- Valid driver's license
- Professional tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Commitment to quality workmanship
Preferred Experience
- Diesel diagnostics
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Ford Power Stroke, Duramax, and Cummins platforms
- Fleet maintenance and repair
- Medium-duty truck repair
- ASE certifications

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
