- Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg
- Location: Rome, NY
- Pay: Up to $2,632/week (36 Hours) or $3,400/week (48 Hours)
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) 3x12 or 4x12
- Schedule: Every Other Weekend & Holiday Required
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg and Stepdown patients.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry (EKG) strips.
- Administer and manage cardiac drips, including Cardizem.
- Perform IV therapy and advanced wound care.
- Float to the Medical-Surgical unit as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Active New York State RN License
- Minimum 2 years of current Med Surg/Telemetry experience
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Certification (required before start)
- Strong IV skills
- Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
- Travel experience preferred
Pay: $2,630.00 - $3,400.00 per week
