Pay Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Human Resources Leadership: Serve as the primary Human Resources contact for employees and department managers, providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR matters.
Payroll Administration: Process weekly payroll accurately and on time while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by responding to employee concerns, resolving workplace issues, supporting managers with HR best practices, and assisting with employee relations in a unionized workforce.
Benefits & Leave Administration: Coordinate employee benefits, PTO, leave requests, and answer questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs, recruit qualified candidates, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring, and facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation.
Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, healthcare regulations, and company policies.
HR Operations: Stay informed of changes in employment laws and HR best practices, proactively recommending and implementing process and policy updates as needed.
Administrative Support: Prepare reports, maintain HR documentation, and provide additional administrative support as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, payroll, employee relations, and federal, state, and local employment laws.
Experience with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
